Octopath Traveler Composer To Make Music For Moonton’s Gothic RPG

After much success with Mobile Legends, the big MOBA title that supersedes the likes of League of Legends and Dota 2, Moonton Games’ next project is going to be gothic. Well, an anime gothic-like RPG anyway that’s called Silver and Blood.

And they’re recruiting top talent for the upcoming RPG’s soundtrack: one Yasunori Nishiki. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Yasunori Nishiki is known for his awesome scores for hit titles like Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II, Granblue Fantasy Versus, and the Final Fantasy VII remakes.

Here’s what he has to say about Silver and Blood:

“I’ve composed music for many RPGs before, but this is my first time working on a title with such a dark overall tone, which made this project a completely new challenge for me. I hope to bring out the best of my abilities and create music that would live up to the game’s artistic vision.

When I first saw the Silver and Blood project proposal, I was immediately drawn to its stunning art style, rich worldbuilding, and deep narratives. It’s a work with remarkable depth and content.”

Right now, Silver and Blood has amassed 6 million pre-registrations globally. The game will be out in open beta form on 26 June for iOS and Android.
