This Cute Stop-Motion Digging Game Is Coming Out This July
Do you miss stop-motion animation in games? Then maybe this upcoming indie title can sort you out.
Dig into the world of Mashina, a digging adventure game where you play as the titular friendly mining robot who has to dig their way underground for minerals and resources to build up their quirky robot community. And it’s a lovely-animated world as everything is done in stop-motion animation.
“Everything in Mashina is made out of various materials and animated using traditional stop-motion techniques. The art style follows on from Talha and Jack Co’s debut game Judero which is currently nominated for Excellence in Visual Arts in the 2025 IGF Awards.”
The game will be out on 31 July on PC (via Steam). You can play the demo and/or wishlist it on the game’s page.
