Apple Is Now Part Of The Game Awards Advisory Board
The latest tech company to be enlisted onto The Game Awards is Apple.
The tech company known for making the iPhone, iPad, and all sorts of other breakthrough smart devices, is now part of The Game Awards advisory board as its 14th member. The company will be alongside other members such as Riot Games, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Epic Games, Kojima Productions, & more.
Apple has been on a gaming push this year. The company launched Apple Games that combined player game library, social feeds, and Apple Arcade subscription under one new hub. Apple also bought a company called RAC7, the two-person development team behind Sneaky Sasquatch. The latter game was a hit back in 2019.
The Advisory Board’s job is to “helps guide and advance the mission of The Game Awards”. It doesn’t select award nominees or winners; that’s up to a voting jury of media publication.
The Game Awards will air on 11 December 2025 PST.
