Persona Sales Surpass 15 Million, Persona 4 Golden & More

Atlus has published its official financial results for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2021.

What’s interesting is that the report includes updated sales numbers for several titles in the Persona series. This gives us insight into how popular each game in the franchise really is, instead of relying on memes posted by weebs online.

Check out the updated sales numbers below:

  • Persona 5 Royal (PS4, PS5) – More than 1.8 million copies.
  • Persona 5 Strikers (PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC) – More than 1.5 million copies.
  • Persona 4 Golden (PC on Steam) – More than 900,000 copies.

In the same report, the developer has noted that sales in North America, Europe, and Asia have significantly exceeded expectations. This definitely bodes well for the franchise, especially now that total sales numbers for the Persona series have surpassed a whopping 15 million units.

The next major title by Atlus will be Shin Megami Tensei 5, which is slated to release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on 12 November 2021. You can check out the details of the different editions of the game by heading over here.
