Sol Cresta Will Be Out This February

PlatinumGames has finally announced the new release date of its 2D retro shmup title Sol Cresta.

Director Hideki Kamiya and his crew announced that Sol Cresta will be out on 22nd February, which is less than a month away. The team also showed off the main concept art of the game, featuring the three coloured ships and their respective pilots (from left to right) Luna, Sho Tendo, and Drew with his pet hamster Hamco.

There’s even a short soundtrack preview, with the game’s music being composed by Yuzo Koshiro.

PlatinumGames pals like Yoko Taro of Nier fame also extended their well wishes to the studio and Hideki Kamiya. And as expected, Yoko Taro’s message is a tad odd and brazen.
