Expect New Dragon Quest Game News Next Month
It’s the calm before the storm that is game news and announcements for the upcoming month of June. And longtime JRPG series Dragon Quest isn’t going to be left out of this.
During Dragon Quest Day 2022 (which is today, 27 May), series creator Yuji Horii said that there will be a lot of new Dragon Quest titles being worked on. Most notably, he’s talking about Dragon Quest X Offline and Dragon Quest Treasures. There will be more news on the two games later in June. For now, there’s a teaser out for Dragon Quest Treasures below:
As a surprise, Square Enix has launched Dragon Quest Builders for iOS and Android; you can buy it right now if you’re into RPGing and Minecraft-building.
“But what about Dragon Quest XII”, you may ask? Well, Yuji Horii said that the twelfth mothership title is still a work in progress. He said the development team is “working hard” on development. He assured fans on the DQ Day video below that there will be more Dragon Quest games to tide you over until it’s finished.
