Indonesian CODM Pro & Content Creator Banned For 8 Months

Call of Duty: Mobile professional and content creator Mochamad Irvan Lordvan Nur Arifin has been banned from competing in Activision and Garena sanctioned tournaments for eight months.

It was announced yesterday that four players from the team; Hail to The Ex, Lordvan from DG Esports and three of Relentless, have all been disqualified from Major Series Season 7 and have been banned for eight months.

In the case of Hail to The Ex, on the third day of the event, evidence of jockeying during the tournament qualifier was submitted to the tournament organisers.

For those that may not know, jockeying is a term used for when another player uses a registered player’s account. It is stated in almost all Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) tournament rulebooks that jockeying is strictly prohibited and an offence can result in disqualification from a tournament and even a ban.

Due to this story still developing, not much is known about Team Relentless and Lordvan’s situation and circumstances. Since DG Esports has a six-man lineup — including Lordvan — it is assumed that DG will run with their five remaining players.

DG Esports has been the most dominant team in Indonesian since the CODM’s release and has remained with the same roster since January of 2020. It was only in February that the Indonesian organisation made their first official roster changes with Lordvan and Lyze coming in for Ehannn and Venom.
