KOF XV Shows Off Team Awakened Orochi In Action

The King of Fighters XV is getting a new team this August.

Technically an old team, since it’s the Orochi versions of Yashiro, Chris, and Shermie from the past games. Now dubbed Team Awakened Orochi, these versions of Yashiro (Parched Earth), Shermie (Insanely Violent Lightning), and Chris (Flames of Destiny) have completely different movesets based on Goro, Benimaru, and Kyo Kusanagi respectively. And they’re decked in KOF 96’s big boss Goenitz’s uniform.

To sum it up: Yashiro is a grappler and slams you like no tomorrow, Shermie has lightning projectiles to footsie and zone people out of her space, and Chris mixes flames and his speed to make one potent combo. Check out their moves in the official trailer below.

Team Awakened Orochi will be out in KOF XV this August, most likely for the same US$15.99/RM68 price tag.
