Xbox Game Pass September 2023 Adds Lies Of P, PAYDAY 3 & More
Microsoft has announced the lineup for Xbox Game Pass in September 2023. There is plenty to enjoy in this month’s lineup, including a co-op shooter, an action RPG, and even a competitive brawler. Let’s take a look!
Lies of P (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Available Now
Lies of P is an Action RPG based on the classic tale of Pinocchio. Assume the role of Pinocchio and solve the mysteries and disasters that happened in the city of Krat. During the journey, you’ll be put in a situation where lying is needed to protect yourself or others. Pinocchio’s lying is one of the most important experiences that you’ll have. At the same time, this will lead Pinocchio to become a true human being. You will meet familiar characters who can be either their ally or foe.
Party Animals (Cloud and Console) – 20 September
In this game, players select one of a variety of adorable animals and engage in battles against multiple opponents, either locally, online, or against AI bots. The objective is to knock out your opponents using all-out pawfare. Party Animals offers a variety of ways to take down your opponents, including using fists, dropkicks, weapons, and throwing them to their demise.
PAYDAY 3 (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – 21 September
PAYDAY 3 is an action-packed, four-player co-op shooter which lets players go on crime sprees. Players are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to big league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults. Up to four friends co-op on the hits, and as the crew progresses the jobs become bigger, better and more rewarding. Along with earning more money and becoming a legendary criminal comes a character customization and crafting system that lets crews build and customize their own guns and gear.
Cocoon (Console and PC) – 29 September
Players assumed the role of an entity with wings who has to carry the world on their backs. The game promises intricate puzzles and platforming exploration with tons of mind-bending puzzles with equally ingenious solutions, akin to your Portals and The Legend of Zelda titles.
Gotham Knights (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – 3 October
Gotham Knights is an open-world, third-person action RPG featuring the Batman Family as players step into the roles of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin, a new guard of trained DC Super Heroes who must rise up as the protectors of Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s death. Players must save Gotham from descent into chaos and reinvent themselves into their own version of the Dark Knight. Check out our in-depth review of the game.
The Lamplighter’s League (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – 3 October
The Lamplighters League is a turn-based strategy game set in an alternate 1930s. Players are challenged to outwit and outrun a sinister global cult before they can achieve world domination. Use various gameplay styles, including real-time infiltration, turn-based tactical combat, and team management to outsmart the opposition.
EA Sports FC 2024 Early Access Trial – 22 September
Players get 10 hours to kickball and score victories starting 22 September with Game Pass Ultimate via EA Play. Plus, members can score a Welcome Pack and save 10% on an FC 24 pre-order and other purchases of EA digital content.
New League of Legends Champion: Briar, the Restrained Hunger – Available Now
Get ready to dive teeth first into the newest League of Legends champion: Briar. After years of captivity, Briar is now free, and she’s ready to discover who’s a friend and who’s food. Game Pass members can immediately play the new jungler and make a meal of the enemy!
EA Sports UFC 4 Champion Fighter Customization Bundle – Available Now
Members of the Game Pass Ultimate can unlock fearsome heavyweights, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, in addition to getting both the Kumite Customization Pack and the Backyard Customization Pack. This bundle is only available until October 5.
