GTA 6 Hack Update: UK Police Arrest 17-Year Old Hack Suspect

Police in the UK have arrested a 17-year old in Oxfordshire for suspicion of hacking; the kind that’s tied to the recent Grand Theft Auto 6 hack as of late.

The arrest took place on Thursday UK time; the suspect is still under custody. The culprit is also involved with a recent Uber security breach according to journalist Matthew Keys whose sources are familiar with the matter. The investigation for both breaches is conducted by both the FBI and US Department of Justice, explaining why results are sorted really quick since the leak happened last Saturday during TGS 2022 week.

“Police expected to give more details on arrest of 17-year-old Rockstar Games hacker later today, possible statement coming from the FBI later this morning/afternoon.”

UPDATE: Arrest of 17-year-old by police in the United Kingdom over hack of Rockstar and possibly Uber was done in concert with an investigation conducted by the FBI, according to a source with knowledge of the matter.
