Marvel Studios Delays Blade, Deadpool 3, Fantastic Four & Avengers Secret Wars

Disney and Marvel Studios have announced new release dates for several movies, including Blade, Deadpool 3, Fantastic Four and Avengers Secret Wars.

• Blade: 6 September 2024 (previously slated for 3 November 2023)
• Deadpool 3: 8 November 2024 (previously slated for 6 September 2024)
• Fantastic Four: 14 February 2025 (previously slated for 8 November 2024)
• Untitled Marvel Movie 1: 7 November 2025 (previously slated for 14 February 2025)
• Avengers: Secret Wars: 1 May 2026 (previously slated for 7 November 2025)
• Untitled Marvel Movie 2: Removed from the schedule (previously slated for 1 May 2026)

The Marvel movie delays are probably caused by the pre-production problems of Blade, which currently has no director attached to the project. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige originally announced the previous release dates for Phase 5 and Phase 6 of the MCU during San Diego Comic-Con 2022.

The next MCU movie will be Black Panther Wakanda Forever, which will premiere on 11 November 2022.
