Halo Infinite Offers Free Battle Pass Called Winter Contingency II

Halo Infinite is holding a two-week event called the Winter Contingency II along with a free Battle Pass

If you haven’t played Halo Infinite in a while and want to give it another try, the Winter Contingency II event is a good opportunity. It’s a two-week event that includes a free Battle Pass. If you haven’t played Halo Infinite much, it’s worth noting that 343 Industries only releases free Battle Pass content occasionally, similar to other popular free-to-play shooters. So if you’re interested in experiencing the Battle Pass content in Halo Infinite, now is a good time to do so.

During the rest of the year, players who want access to the benefits of the Battle Pass have to pay for the Premium version. It is not possible for multiple players using the same computer to share the benefits of the Battle Pass, whether it is the free or paid version.

To encourage players to participate in the event, the Winter Contingency II Battle Pass has 10 tiers, giving players the chance to earn items for free over the holidays.

One of the highlights of this event is the holiday-themed cosmetics that you can use to customize your soldier. These include items like Santa hats and antler ears, as well as holiday-themed weapon skins, headgear, armour coatings, badges, and more.

If you don’t have the time to complete all 10 tiers of the Battle Pass during the holidays, don’t worry. The Battle Pass will be permanently available when it is launched, allowing you to catch up and rank up whenever you have the time to do so.

Last month, 343 Industries announced that the Winter update for the game was the largest in the game’s history. One of the features included in the update was Forge Mode, which allows players to create their own maps.

The company also announced that it would be making changes to the XP system in preparation for the Battle Pass and other events scheduled for next year. This includes the current event, so if you want to see how the XP system in Halo Infinite works now, it’s a good time to play again.
