Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion Mod Brings Back Original Voice Cast

If you miss the original voice cast for nostalgic purposes, there’s actually a Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion mod out there for the PC version of the game that restores the original voices from the 2007 PSP version. The mode was uploaded by a modder named Svenchu on Nexus Mods.

The Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion mod restores the original voices for Zack, Cloud, Sephiroth, Aerith, and Genesis. However, it doesn’t cover all the voice acting, since the remake has full voice acting while the original did not. Svenchu is currently working on removing the additional voice acting for specific cutscenes to fully recreate the authentic PSP experience, as well as replacing voice combat sound and dialogue with the original versions.

Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion is available now for the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Check out our review of the game here.
