Mario & Luigi Does The Super Show Rap In New Super Mario Bros. Super Bowl Teaser

During Super Bowl 2023, the Super Mario Bros. Movie unveiled a new teaser ad featuring the infamous Mario Rap from the Super Mario Bros. Super Show! It was a live-action animated hybrid TV series that originally aired back in 1989.

What’s funny is that the number for Super Mario Bros. Plumbing (that’s featured in the teaser) actually works if you call it (but only try it if you’re living in the US). You’ll hear Charlie Day as Luigi speaking.

There’s even a whole working website.

The animated Super Mario Bros. movie premieres in cinemas on 6 April 2023. The upcoming animated movie will star Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong and Keegan-Michael Key as Toad.
