Tier One Partners With G2 Esports To Form G2 Blacklist
Blacklist International, the Filipino esports division of Tier One Entertainment, and G2 Esports, a globally-renowned organization, are joining forces to form G2 Blacklist for League of Legends: Wild Rift in the Philippines.
The two esports organizations aim to create a world-class roster in the rapidly growing Wild Rift esports scene. Blacklist International made a name for themselves with their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team, winning three MPL PH championships and dominating M3 in 2021.
Meanwhile, G2 Esports has established multiple world championship-contending rosters across popular titles like League of Legends, CS:GO, and Rocket League.
Tryke Gutierrez, the CEO of Tier One Entertainment, says that G2 Blacklist is a “1 + 2 = 4” partnership, bringing together two of the most popular and competitive teams in their respective regions. The joint venture will not only change the Wild Rift Esports game but also the entire industry.
Alban Dechelotte, the CEO of G2 Esports, says that they are combining the best of the East and West to take the esports competition by storm. The G2 and Blacklist partnership was created with big ambitions, bringing a G2 team to their fans in the region. Blacklist’s success in the mobile esports market makes them a winning team, according to Dechelotte.
The two organizations have created a new logo combining their iconic symbols to commemorate their partnership. In addition, world-renowned Philippine street artist Juanito “Quiccs” Maiquez will unveil a bespoke and exclusive art piece for the new venture. Get ready to see G2 Blacklist dominate the Wild Rift esports scene in the Philippines and beyond!
