For The King II Has A New Trailer & It Looks Pretty Good
For The King II, the highly-anticipated cooperative RPG which is set to release in 2023, has just released a new trailer titled Resistance.
The game features new inventions, such as land boats that can carry the party and magical pets that will fight alongside you, and hired mercenaries. The trailer also hints at a new plot: characters being forced to fight against the queen, possibly even the same one from the first game.
The game allows you to take control of an adventuring party and explore a turn-based world with RPG combat, either by yourself or with friends. The new combat system is a huge improvement from the first game.
It features a tactical detail, where each party of combatants stands in front and back ranks on a grid. This should make the game more customizable, and hopefully, the game will be less difficult than the first one.
The Resistance trailer also teases the return of The Hangman, the annoying character from the first game, who could add a bonus ghost to every single combat. Thankfully, the game can be played with up to four players. However, it would have been cool if they called it “Four the King” instead of For the King 2.
