Not content with making their detailed and expansive answer to Maxis’ SimCity, Paradox Interactive and its developer Paradox Tectonic are now throwing their hats into the life simulation circuit.

Both Paradox companies have announced a new life simulation titled Life by You, and it’s basically their version of The Sims: a seemingly detailed and incredibly life-like iteration of the then-uncontested genre, with massive Creator Tools and options along with major mod support. Life by You will be out in Early Access for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) on 12 September for US$39.99. The game will be in Early Access for 12 months, though that is subject to change depending on the games’ development process and status.
