Spy X Family Season 2 & Its First-Ever Movie Get Release Dates

At AnimeJapan 2023, it was announced (via Anime News Network) that the Spy X Family Season 2 anime will premiere sometime in October 2023 and that the first Spy X Family movie, titled Spy X Family Code White, will premiere in Japan in December 2023.

Kazuhiro Furuhashi (who directed the first season of the anime) is returning to direct the second season at WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks. Takahiro Harada is also returning as the assistant director. Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass, Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch From Mercury) is the new series script supervisor, replacing Furuhashi. Kazuaki Shimada is returning as the character designer, and [K]NoW_NAME is returning as the music producer.

As for the Spy X Family movie, it will feature a brand new original story written by original manga creator Tatsuya End?, who also worked on the original character designs for the movie, as well as supervised the movie. WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks are animating the movie, with Takashi Katagiri directing the film, and Ichiro Okouchi as the scriptwriter.
