Iconic Map Estate & Snipers Set To Return In Modern Warfare II Season 3

FaZe Dirty, one of the top YouTubers for Modern Warfare II, recently got to try out a new map in a Season 3 playtest, and it looks like a classic Call of Duty map is finally getting the remake treatment it deserves.

If you’re a CoD fan, you know that each new game usually includes a few remakes of classic maps. Modern Warfare II already brought back fan favourites like Shipment and Shoothouse, and Warzone 2 added a few points of interest inspired by classic CoD maps, like Quarry, Dome, and Showdown.

But despite seven map remakes from MWII in other games, some classic environments still hadn’t been revisited. Luckily, Infinity Ward has finally shown some love to the original MW2 by bringing back a much-loved map for Season 3.

Activision invited FaZe Dirty to check out the new season, where he got to try out the brand-new Intervention sniper and the FJX Imperium. But the real excitement came when he got to play on the new Season 3 map, Pelayo’s Lighthouse.

Dirty spilt the beans on his experience in a recent YouTube video, where he not only showed off some FJX Imperium gameplay but also gave fans a sneak peek of a familiar location. In the video, he walked through a house on Pelayo’s Lighthouse that fans of the original MW2 will definitely recognize as Estate. It looks like it’s going to be a great addition to the game, and fans can’t wait to try it out themselves.
