Metal Gear Solid 3 Original Voice Cast Will Be Used For Upcoming Remake

Earlier today, Konami has announced a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 called Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Many are wondering if the game’s original voice actors will be used or whether there will be a new set of VOs.

It turns out that the former will be used. According to Konami’s official press release, the original voice cast is going to be used for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.

“The remake will star the original voice characters, rich storyline and expansive features of combat survival in harsh environments evolved with unprecedented graphics and immersive sound.”

To recap, the voice cast for the original include:

  • David Hayter as Naked Snake
  • Lori Alan as The Boss
  • Suzetta Minet as EVA
  • Josh Keaton as Ocelot
  • Neil Ross as Colonel Volgin
  • Gregg Berger as The Pain
  • Michael Bell as The Fear
  • J. Grant Albrecht as The End
  • Richard Doyle as The Fury

Most likely the master recordings for the original game back in 2004 is good enough to be used in the upcoming remake. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be out for PC, Xbox Series, and PS5. No release date has been announced yet.
