Outer Wilds Finally Beams Down On Nintendo Switch Next Month

During the Nintendo Indie World Showcase November 2023 live stream, Mobius Digital and Annapurna Interactive announced that Outer Wilds Archaeologist Edition will launch for the Nintendo Switch on 7 December 2023, with a physical edition coming sometime in 2024.

Outer Wilds is an open-world mystery about a solar system trapped in an endless time loop, where you will play as the newest recruit of Outer Wilds Ventures, a fledgling space program searching for answers in a strange, constantly evolving solar system.

In this version of the game, players will strap on their hiking boots, check their oxygen levels, and get ready to venture into space, as well as use a variety of unique gadgets to probe their surroundings, track down mysterious signals, decipher ancient alien writing, and roast the perfect marshmallow.

Outer Wilds was originally released on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2019, as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2022.
