Blue Archive The Animation Announced; Coming In 2024

The upcoming anime adaptation of Blue Archive, the popular RPG mobile game, has recently announced its release window, along with additional details. Based on the recently revealed teaser trailer, the anime will premiere sometime in April 2024, although no specific date has been disclosed yet.
The trailer for the anime adaptation showcased the characters displaying their daily routines at school. It was also revealed that the anime will be adapting the Countermeasures Committee arc from the video game. Overall, the trailer was fairly short, focusing on showcasing the characters and hinting at the upcoming storyline.
The main visual features are Ayane, Shiroko, Nonomi, Hoshino, and Serika donning school uniforms.
The trailer showcases not only the characters but also the staff that will work on the anime and cast members who will bring the captivating anime characters to life:
Yostar Pictures and Candy Box will be working together to produce the animation for the series. Daigo Yamagishi will be overseeing the project as the director. Shunji Maki will be serving as assistant director, and Hiromitsu Hagiwara will be the chief animation director and character designer. Hiroshi Onogi will be in charge of the series composition, working alongside Yamagishi.
The Blue Archive’s official website has cited the anime story as follows;
“Kivotos is a huge school city formed by more than thousands of schools. Here, the quarrel between the students with guns in their hands has become a daily scene.
Among them, the “Abydos High School”, which was shrouded in sand, was on the verge of closure. Five students of the “task force” who are struggling to get out of the situation. When he meets an “adult” called “Sensei,” the story begins to move.”
Blue Archive The Animation is based on a popular RPG mobile game developed by Nexon Games, which was initially launched in Japan in 2021. The global version was subsequently released later that year.
