Tekken 8 Has Sold 2 Million Copies Since Its Launch

Despite disappointing game sales results last year, Bandai Namco has a lot to look forward to in 2024.

Bandai Namco posted its earnings call regarding its 2023 game sales. Results are overall disappointing due to underperforming games like the MMORPG Blue Protocol. However, 2024 is looking bright so far with its 3D fighting game Tekken 8 selling 2 million copies, stating that the situation is “better than we’d hoped for at this point” (via Bloomberg’s Takashi Mochizuki). Guess getting marketing help from actors like Brian Cox did help after all.
