Transformers One Trailer Teases The Origin Of Optimus Prime & Megatron

Paramount Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming animated movie, Transformers One, and it looks horrible, like something only targeted towards little children. After complex all-ages movies like Sony Pictures Animation’s Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse and Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse, do we really need to regress to something with the tone of a baby again?

Well, at least the animation looks nice.

Let’s hope the upcoming Transformers G.I. Joe crossover movie will look better.

The synopsis reads:

TRANSFORMERS ONE is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi with Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.

The ensemble voice cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Jon Hamm, and Laurence Fishburne. The film is described as an “origin story” set on the planet Cybertron and will centre on the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron.

Transformers One is slated to premiere in Malaysian cinemas on 12 September 2024.
