Marvel Rivals Is Making The Leap To PS5

Big news from PlayStation’s State of Play, after only being announced for Steam previously, Marvel Rivals is leaping onto consoles with a closed beta test announced for July 2024.

Developed by NetEase Games, this 6v6 free-to-play PvP hero-shooter is slated for release later this year, and it’s shaping up to be Marvel’s answer to Overwatch.

Assemble your dream team of Marvel icons, crafting inventive Team-Up skills, and battling it out in explosive, ever-changing arenas across the Marvel universe. The game promises a mix of fan favourites and cult classics, spanning the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men, and beyond.

While the official release date remains under wraps, recent playtests indicate that Marvel Rivals is well on its way, and leaked gameplay footage has only added to the hype.
