[Rumor] Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Release Date Confirmed
There’s no current release date for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, but that might change soon.
According to a recent leak from a GameStop US retailer, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will allegedly be out this year, on 17 November 2024. Konami has yet to announce this, so we’ll probably hear more from the publisher soon if the leaks are true.
In addition, the game will come in two physical editions available for pre-order for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S: the Standard version at US$69.99 and Collector’s Edition at US$199.99. The Collector’s Edition features the following:
- Miniature terrarium based on the iconic opening scene of Virtuous Mission where Naked Snake must recover his equipment bag snagged on a tree branch. Includes miniature Naked Snake figurine and tree stump with hanging bag.
- A recreation of the fake identification badge Naked Snake uses to break into Groznyj Grad Northeast as a scientist.
- High-quality stitched patch showing membership in the legendary FOX UNIT.
- Unique rubber patch commemorating Naked Snake’s historic HALO parachute jump.
- Beautiful retro-style metal game case utilizing original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater artwork.
No word on whether this Collector’s version will be available in Southeast Asian markets. For now, we can only marvel at the recent trailer that came out during the Summer Games Fest 2024 weekend. And also hype up the fact that Metal Gear voice actor David Hayter will be coming down to Malaysia at this year’s Asia Pop Con 2024 pop culture and gaming event this September.
