Trigun Stampede Follow-Up Gets Brand New Name & Art

Anime production studio Orange has announced a follow-up to last year’s anime adaptation of the Trigun manga, a sci-fi gunslinging show starring a calamity-bringing sharpshooter named Vash the Stampede.

During an Anime Expo 2024 panel, the company announced the “final phase” of the Trigun Stampede series. It’s called Trigun Stargaze and it takes place 2.5 years after the end of Trigun Stampede.

There is neither a new trailer nor a release window for the sequel series, but Orange did show off three new designs for its characters.

Trigun Stampede made its debut back in January 2023 as an adaptation of the Trigun manga created by Yasushiro Nightow. The show is about the misadventures of Vash The Stampede who is a gunman with a huge bounty on his head. He then attracts the attention of two journalists and a priest in his quest to pursue his psychotic brother Knives.
