Understandably, fans of Halo have been anxiously anticipating for any form of news related to the game moreover with cancellations of E3 and Gamescom – two major international game events where latest info on the game are usually disseminated. The last major info drop for Halo Infinite was at E3 2019, with Microsoft promising this year’s E3 (E3 2020) to be ‘the big show’ for the game.
With the cancellation of both shows, joined by two more today where Paris Games Weekand Tokyo Game Show also confirmed their cancellation, the restlessness is totally warranted. However, there’s a beacon of hope that everything is still on track with Microsoft assuring that Halo Infinite is still on track to be released as a launch title for the Xbox One Series X at the end of the year despite Covid-19.
Not just that, apparently we are in for a treat in July as Microsoft plans to unveil some huge news as part of their monthly countdown event leading up to the release of the Xbox One Series X. While there’s no confirmation on Halo Infinite’s involvement, the fact that it is confirmed as one of the launch titles should get any Master Chief fan excited.
