Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc To Premiere With Special Screenings At Anime Expo

Pony Canyon has dropped the international trailer for Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Hen (Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc, or literally, Kinnikuman Perfect Ch??jin/Superhuman Origin Arc), set to premiere on 7 July across CBC, TBS, and 26 affiliated networks in the US. The debut episode, Episode 0, kicks off with refreshed animation, airing Sundays at 11:30 PM (GMT+8), and streams globally on Netflix from 7 July.

Anime Expo 2024 will feature a world premiere of episodes 0 and 1 on Saturday at 3:45 PM (PDT), with Mamoru Miyano attending alongside director Akira Sato and producer Rui Kuroki.

Directed by Akira Sato and produced by Production I.G, the series celebrates Kinnikuman’s 40th anniversary, following Prince Kinnikuman’s journey from underdog to universal hero. The revival manga began in 2011, reigniting the saga where it left off in 1987.
