Here’s How Much Path Of Exile 2 Costs At Launch
Action RPG fans will finally get to play the long-awaited sequel to Path of Exile next month. But how big is the entry cost this time around?
Back then and even now, a core supporter pack for Path of Exile costs US$60 and goes upward from there. That’s fine and all, given that the game itself is free to play, so paying is optional; plus what you’re getting is all cosmetics and display-related. The early access version of Path of Exile 2 will be half of that: US$30, according to a post from developer & publisher Grinding Gear Games.
“Unlike our usual tiers of core supporter packs, early access packs will begin at $30 USD.”
PoE 2 will be a separate game, but all your cosmetics & shop currency will carry over from PoE 1. This is the main reason why the game’s Early Access is on 6th December instead of November: the migration process was complex & requires more dev time.
As far as the upcoming version is concerned, all we know is that it’ll contain the following:
- 3 Acts to play in.
- PoE 1’s endgame maps using the PoE 2 engine.
- Some of the 12 announced classes that will be playable. As to which one, we don’t know yet.
We’ll find out more about the game and the Early Access version later this week. Path of Exile 2 will be in Early Access and available on 6th December for PC.
