Fighting game fans and fantasy anime lovers may remember that Sandalphon is the next character to appear in Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising’s roster this month. Well, Arc System Works and Cygames have revealed the remaining four characters in that specific Season 2 Character Pass.

During the EVO Awards livestream on 16 February, Arc System Works has announced the other characters for the GBVS Rising season pass and their respective release windows. They are:

• Galleon (Spring 2025)
• Wilnas (Summer 2025)
• Meg (Fall 2025)
• Ilsa (Early 2026)

Who Are These Characters?

Here’s a lowdown on each of them (via X user Rowlet)

Galleon is one of the Six Dragons, a group of beings on a tier below Bahamut who personify the 6 elements present in Granblue Fantasy. They were first introduced in their dragon forms, but they later acquire mortal forms.

Galleon represents earth, uses telepathy, and kisses others to give blessings. Just like most GBF females, she is well-endowed.

Wilnas is the second of the Six Dragons, and he represents fire. He excels in raw strength and is fascinated by the hardworking nature of mortals, especially when it come to cooking. He lacks the dexterity and taste buds to do it himself, often leading to burnt disasters. He also has a popular Valentine’s Day form that female GBF players seem to love.

Meg is a regular girl who trained herself to become a badass warrior after a trauma she endured during a summer vacation. She also befriends a shark named Ursula who she uses as a weapon on her arm. She also has a “friend” named Mari who wants to marry her.

Ilsa is the last member in the Society cast that includes GBVS Rising characters Eustace, Vaseraga, Zeta, and Beatrix. She is a 28-year old drill sergeant who is infamous for being strict and harsh; however, she puts the lives of her cadets above all else. She is also single, which is something she’s self-conscious about despite the fact that she’s drawn that way, if you get my drift.
