New Devil May Cry Trailer Spotlights A Classic 2000s Nu Metal Song, Dante’s Pecs, & His Brother

Netflix reminds us that we’re all living in Dante’s world in this new Devil May Cry anime trailer.

The new trailer from Netflix shows off a lot more action, more one-liners from Dante (voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch), a bit more of the new demons he’s facing, series mainstay Lady who he’s gonna team up with to bust demons, and his brother Vergil. Both of them are probably going to fight sometime in the show, so expect Devil Triggers and more swordplay/Helmbreaker/Void Slash nonsense coming your way via Studio Mir.

Joining Johnny Yong Bosch in the English voiceover department are Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary, Hoon Lee as White Rabbit, the late Kevin Conroy as VP Baines in a posthumous role, and Chris Coppola as Enzo.

Check out the action-packed trailer below played to the remixed tune of Papa Roach’s “Last Resort”, another nu metal classic to go along with the game’s OP track of choice – Limp Bizkit’s “Rollin”. Yes, this is starting to sound like a playlist you would use for a Devil May Cry 3 combo video around that time, so maybe we can expect hits from Powerman 5000, Slipknot, and Disturbed.

The series’ first season will be out on Netflix starting 3rd April and will contain eight episodes.
