Avengers: Doomsday Full Cast List Announced

In what could be the slowest-moving reveal in pop culture movie history, Marvel has unveiled the full roster of its upcoming big superhero movie in a purposely slow-crawl livestream.

Just hours ago, the full cast has FINALLY been revealed, and it’s a doozy. Also, the movie is in production at this point in time, and is being directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.

This confirms a number of things and Marvel Cinematic Universe tidbits.

Fox’s X-Men characters, and mutants, are making a comeback, including the right person to play as Beast (that’s you, Dr. Frasier Crane).
The Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four (2025) will be part of this superhero film. Most likely nothing’s bad going to happen to those characters since they need to be somewhat alive to appear in Avengers: Doomsday.
There’s no sign or word on the Guardians of the Galaxy, or any mention of the Marvels (Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau/Photon). The former group was in a slew of successful movies directed by James Gunn who is currently the head of DC Comics movie adaptations over at Warner Bros. Studio. The latter group’s big movie didn’t do so hot in the international box office.

In any case, you can expect this Russo Brothers-directed film to be stacked and full of hype. The film will be out in 2026, with its sequel Avengers: Secret Wars set for 2027. As for upcoming MCU releases, Thunderbolts will be out on 2nd May while The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be out in 25 July. You may want to pay attention to the post-credits scenes for these films.
