Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls – All Easter Eggs & References

Arc System Works may be taking Capcom and Riot Games’ lunches with its new fighting game announcement: a new 4v4 fighter called Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. Its debut trailer came out during this June’s PlayStation State of Play livestream, and it looks spectacular!

It’s got 8 characters revealed so far (Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan, Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Doctor Doom, Star-Lord, and Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes), it features both simple inputs and traditional motion inputs, a unique 4v4 fighting mechanic where you can just master one character and just have the other three as assists (or you can just use the tagging mechanic as normal), and that slick Arc System Works animation style at work.

Right now, the game has shown off three stages all set in New York, and as per tradition here at Kakuchopurei, we would love to tell you all the easter eggs and references from Marvel all laid out in this new fighting game trailer.
