Stupid Never Dies Is A New Action RPG Game From Ex-Devil May Cry Producers; Slated For 2026

When’s the last time you saw a zombie action star teaming up with a live person? Especially one who has the hots for zombies?

That is Stupid Never Dies in a nutshell, a new action RPG title from GPTRACK50, a new studio from Osaka, Japan who happens to be run by ex-Capcom lead Hiroyuki Kobayashi and a slew of ex-Capcom staff who worked on the Devil May Cry and Dragon’s Dogma games. That’s quite a pedigree.

The game’s plot is about Davy the zombie and Julia the human heroine, with the former fighting various monsters like werewolves and lizardmen. Davy can not only use his limbs for attacks, and even upchuck onto enemies for damage, but also transform and even absorb foes to gain more power and growth.

The newly released trailer is created in the style of a music video, featuring the zombie protagonist, Davy, and the human heroine, Julia, singing and dancing to the game’s theme song. The trailer offers a glimpse into the characters’ personalities and relationship, while the fast-paced pop-punk track captures the game’s vibrant world and energetic spirit.

In the game, Davy will be joined by a cast of unique allies who support his adventure, where he will face exceptional monsters, like werewolves, lizardmen, skeletons, and more in a fresh take on the
Action RPG genre which GPTRACK50 have christened “Blazing Fast Growth”. More details on the story and gameplay are set to be revealed in future updates.
