Gigabash’s Final Ascension DLC Stomps In With New Original Content This March

Malaysian game developer Passion Republic is going to add in more Gigabash action with its most ambitious DLC yet.

Gigabash – Final Ascension DLC will be adding new characters, new maps, and new story content. After about 4 years of kaiju DLC keeping the game alive and kicking, it’s great to see the devs making original story content.

This DLC adds 2 new characters into the game who are evolutions of existing fan favorites. Behold “Gaya Gigaman” and “Zargorah” as they pit themselves against each other with dazzling moves and catastrophic skills. One brings justice, the other brings destruction, but they are both bringing the heat! Coming with them are two new maps, new music, and a new Story Mode chapter.

Gaya Gigaman (“Guy-ya”, not “Gay-ya” for our international readers), the Champion of Justice reborn in flames of hope. This legend of the GigaBash world is here to show that an old dog doesn’t need new tricks. He stands with the best, he dispenses with the rest! Like a shooting star, he blitzes across the battlefield to dole out justice against any villain near or far. Gaya Gigaman is the embodiment of heroism, sacrificing even his lifeforce to ensure his foes stay down. Let his azure flame scour the wicked!

And lo, Zargorah arrives, the harbinger of doomsday. Ferocious, devastating, this Apex Titan is the terror of any arena. He rules the air, the ground, the very Giga Energy that suffuses the land, for all belongs to Cosmic Chaos. Zargorah is a capital-T Threat, whether he’s up close with his raking claws and tail, or afar with his fire breath and apocalypse lasers.

Witness their story unfold in the new Story Mode chapter, an adventure that’s sure to be the defining moment of GigaBash’s story! Taking place all across the world, including in two new maps set in eye-catching locales, and with new music to boot, the story revolves around the mysterious circumstances of Gigaman’s disappearance and his return in the face of a new threat.

The GigaBash – Final Ascension DLC is the most ambitious DLC to date for the ultimate kaiju fighting game. With a grand total of 28 playable characters, including original and crossover characters from legendary kaiju and tokusatsu history, GigaBash’s ascension is only just beginning!
