Control Resonant Hands-On Preview: Dylan May Cry

I was anxious when I heard about Remedy Entertainment’s sequel to the hit action-adventure shooter-focused sci-fi title Control turning into a hack-and-slash game. The studio featuring key figures like Sam Lake and Markus Maki are talented, but their portfolio is all third-person shooters, Alan Wake games included. Would they have the nuance to turn it into a melee-focused action title with appropriate action beats?

My fears were put to rest after playing an hour of the game. Turns out Remedy has what it takes in making a Western character action title fly high. Check out the rest of my preview below:
