Here’s When Marvel’s Avengers E3 2019 Demo Will Be Made Public

The first trailer for Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers game was originally unveiled at E3 2019 to mixed public reactions. Gamers found the design choices to be jarring, and the cinematic trailer didn’t feature any gameplay whatsoever.

Last weekend, the Marvel Games panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 showed the same A-Day Marvel’s Avengers gameplay footage privately to everyone who attended the event. However, it was later leaked online, which you can check out below, courtesy of YouTube channel OtakuRaj.

Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait long to watch the (clearer and in HD) official version of Marvel’s Avengers gameplay footage, as the game’s official Twitter account announced that it will be released the week after Gamescom 2019 ends.

Gamescom 2019 will take place from 20 to 24 August 2019, so that means the earliest possible time for the Marvel’s Avengers gameplay footage to be released earliest will be on Monday, 26 August 2019.

Developers Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal will have a month or so to polish up the gameplay footage even further, and hopefully, satisfy the fans who were unconvinced of the game’s quality at E3 2019.

Marvel’s Avengers is slated to launch for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 15 May 2020. In the meantime, head on over here to read my first impressions of the game or check out 5 things you need to know about the game here.
