We May Be Getting New Hitman Game In The Future…

Despite previous reports about IO Interactive busy with  Warner  Bros. on a new  IP, the further adventures of Agent 47 are far from over.

According to a new November Hitman roadmap, IO Interactive is officially moving its Hitman  2 team over to a new Hitman game, which is “well underway”.

“In real terms, we’re moving more and more of the Hitman 2 team to join the next Hitman game, which is well underway.”

Right now, Hitman 2 has a wealth of Featured  Contracts and  Community-curated Contracts, alongside some seasonal content like the  Escalation and Elusive contract coming this December. So don’t expect that many updates for Hitman 2 this year and the next.
