Superman Red Son Trailer Teases Russian Supes Vs The World

DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation have unveiled the first trailer for their upcoming Superman Red Son animated movie.
The original 2003 Elseworlds graphic novel by Mark Millar, Dave Johnson and Killian Plunkett of the same name is one of the most iconic alternate-world stories featuring the Man Of Steel.
The premise is essentially what would happen if Kal-El AKA Superman landed in Soviet Union Russia and becomes a symbol of Communism, instead of landing in Kansas and fighting for Truth, Justice and the American Way.
Along the way, he gets into conflict with the entire world, including a Russian Batman and a US Marine Corps consisting of Green Lanterns. It’s epic and bonkers all at the same time.
While this will be the first full-fledged adaptation of Superman Red Son, CW’s Supergirl Season 4 did feature a looser adaptation of the story with a clone of Kara Zor-El AKA Supergirl who was raised in Communist Kaznia.
