Former League of Legends pro and streamer Mari “Remilia” Creveling, has died at the age of 24. Dexerto reporter Richard Lewis clarified this on Twitter.
It is with great sadness that I inform you that my best friend Maria Creveling passed away peacefully in her sleep yesterday. Her absence will leave a void that can never be filled.

She would not have wanted any lengthy statements or grand eulogies. Despite having fans all over the world she was never one who craved the spotlight. My only request is that anyone wanting to pay tribute reach out to ensure that it is done in a manner that respects her wishes.

Remilia started her LoL career playing for Curse Academy in 2013 as a support. She was also renowned for the following:
- Competing in the North American Challenger series.
- Joining pro team Misfits in 2015, a team that rebranded into Renegades and won the NACS 2015 summer playoffs.
- Being the first woman to compete in the LCS.
- Regarded as one of the best Thresh players in North America.
The cause of her death is unknown at this point in time.
