Coachella 2020 To Host First Ever Vocaloid On Stage
By Burhanudin Zamri|January 3, 2020|0 Comment
It’s only the third day of the year and we’re already being hit by some crazy news. Most important out of them all is that Hatsune Miku is going to be performing at Coachella this year. Don’t believe me? Check out the poster below.
Hint: First day, third line below Rage Against the Machine. Right at the end.
For you nerds who don’t know what Coachella is, it’s basically an annual music festival held in Indio, California. The full name of the festival is Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
If you’ve seen pictures of Caucasians dressing like Native Americans while attending a concert, that’s most likely Coachella. With top artists, bands, and celebrities appearing every year, it’s no wonder that everyone (normies) want to go.
For those of you who weren’t cultured enough to discover Hatsune Miku before this, I’ll help you out. She’s actually a song-making software called Vocaloid. She’s also arguably the most popular virtual idol in the world. This is what she looks like:
This isn’t the first time Miku has performed in the United States but it’s definitely the first time she’s been selected to perform at Coachella. Back in Coachella 2018, she briefly appeared onscreen while DREAMS was performing. Who knew that that was a teaser for 2020.
Coachella 2020 will be held from 10 April to 19 April 2020. You can buy tickets for the festival here. Tickets for the first weekend are already sold out so be quick!
