The Epic Games Store Now Has Wishlists

There are a few features that the Epic Games Store lacks compared to main rival Steam, but you can now cross wishlists off the list.

The announcement for the new feature’s arrival came earlier today. To wishlist a game on the platform, you simply need to visit a game’s store page, whether on a browser or through the Epic Games Launcher, and click on the “Add to Wishlist” button.

In their announcement post, Epic notes that this is just the first version of the Epic Games Store’s wishlist function.

“To start, we’ll be adding filtering and smart searching of items you’ve added to your wishlist. In future iterations, we plan to add email notifications when your wishlisted titles are discounted, or change status (such as a launch, or becoming available for pre-purchase),” they wrote.

While it’s not a stunning addition, it’s nice that we now have an easy way of keeping track of our desired games on the Epic Games Store.

Epic also mentioned that they’re open to feedback on their social media. Hopefully, we’ll be able to give our feedback via forums instead in the near future.

Still, the addition of wishlists means that there’s at least one less absent feature to gripe about.
