Microsoft Announces Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Controller & Bundle [Update]
Update: Yep, it’s real. Official video below. The limited edition console will be out June 2020.
Original story
It seems that Microsoft is teasing something related to the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. If you head over to the Xbox site, you’ll be greeted by a temporary, glitchy display in which the vague silhouette of what seems to be an Xbox controller (my reflexes aren’t fast enough to take a proper screenshot) is shown for a very brief moment. Then, it displays the words “RETURN IN 4 DAYS” before things go back to normal.

On the Xbox Twitter page, you’ll find a tweet depicting a fictional login page, which you can find here (thanks, GamesRadar).

The fictional company being referenced is Arasaka Corporation, a powerful Japanese megacorporation in the Cyberpunk universe. The Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter page notes that they’re “One of the most influential megacorporations in 2077”, and that police and security forces alike are big fans of their weapons and vehicles.
Arasaka Corp. is a family firm from Japan. They're known for providing corporate security, banking, and legal services. One of the most influential megacorporations in 2077, their weapons and vehicles are among the most sought after by police and security forces. #Cyberpunk2077 pic.twitter.com/ni2jjbeUZf

These vague teases and the ARG are beyond me, but they could be related to the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox bundle, which was apparently leaked on Amazon Canada (the listing no longer exists), according to Twitter user Nibel (@Nibellion). Another user by the name of DUDEMAN127 (@DUDEMAN1271) later posted an image of the alleged bundle in all its glory.

I’d take the bundle news with a grain of salt for now, but I have to say, that console design looks pretty underwhelming. The controller is better, I suppose, but it reminds me a lot of Danganronpa’s Monokuma. If all the teasing is only leading to this, well, that’d be a huge disappointment.
