Borderlands 3 Season Pass 2 Announced; Here’s What You’re Getting
Oh joy, oh happy day to all you loot-and-shoot fans out there. Borderlands 3 is getting a Season Pass 2, and it’ll be kicking off in a few week’s time.
So what will you be getting? Here’s a breakdown.

Designer’s Cut DLC
This addition will be available 10th November and will add in the new fourth purple skill tree for all Vault Hunters. The DLC also features a new Arms Race game mode. So far, there’s no news on this new mode, but rest assured that all will be revealed later this October.
Director’s Cut DLC
This addition will be out in Spring 2021. There’s no news or info about what’s in this Director’s Cut as of yet; maybe a new Mayhem difficulty mode for us hardcore Borderlands 3 fans?
Here’s the schedule for the Designer’s Cut reveals so far:
- October 20, 9:00 AM PTÂ – Amara/FL4K new Skill Tree reveals with livestreams and a special episode of Ultimate Vault Hunters
- October 22, 9:00 AM PTÂ – Moze/Zane new Skill Tree reveals with livestreams and a special episode of Ultimate Vault Hunters
- October 29, 9:00 AM PTÂ – The Borderlands Show premieres, featuring the new Arms Race mode and much more
- October 30, 9:00 AM PTÂ – The Bordercast debuts the first live, hands-on Arms Race gameplay
If Season Pass 2 costs anything like Season Pass 1, expect to spend RM149/US$35 on it.
We should also add that the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions of Borderlands 3 will be available day-on on each respective next-gen console. The Bloody Harvest event is going on now; do check out what’s worth farming from the event here.
