Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 Grinds Into PS5, Xbox Series & Switch This March

Publisher Activision and developer Vicarious Visions have announced that they will release Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on 26 March 2021. The game originally launched for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store on 4 September 2020.

Those who purchased Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 for PS4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to their next-gen counterpart for US$10. The upgrade also includes access to the secret skater Ripper, retro gear for Create-A-Skater mode, and retro skins for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, and Rodney Mullen.

However, those who purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition can upgrade at no additional cost (except for those in Japan).

The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will render at native 4K resolution at 60 FPS, or 1080p at 120 FPS, while the Xbox Series S version will render at 1440p and upscale to 4K. Save data can also be carried over, but PS4 users will not be able to transfer “Create a Park” data to the PS5 version.

In the meantime, check out our review of the game here.
