Some Future Bethesda Games Will Be Microsoft Exclusives

Bethesda is now officially under Microsoft. The company splurged over a whopping US$7.5 billion, giving them now ownership over iconic game franchises like The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, DOOM, Wolfenstein, Dishonored, and more. Gamers have been wondering if future Bethesda will be exclusive to Microsoft.

Well, we now have a partial answer from Head of Xbox Phil Spencer himself.

In a new blog post on Xbox Wire, he said:

“This is the next step in building an industry-leading first party studios team, a commitment we have to our Xbox community.

With the addition of the Bethesda creative teams, gamers should know that Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass will be the best place to experience new Bethesda games, including some new titles in the future that will be exclusive to Xbox and PC players.”

However, as of now, it remains unclear which specific game or game franchise would be exclusive to Xbox and PC. Will the upcoming The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield be affected? If so, that will change the landscape of gaming in this next generation as Xbox begins getting more and more exclusives.
