Due to network issues encountered during its open beta period, Bandai Namco Entertainment (BNE) may extend the duration of the test as they fix the issue. Announced via their social media channels, the official statement read:

Its Facebook Page also addressed the same issue with more elaborate explanation:

“Our team is working hard on optimizing the Open Beta but ran into some issues that cannot be addressed in a short amount of time, so we are asking for your patience until the next server update.”

“The current Open Beta will remain online and available so that the players who can log in and play it, can keep doing so.
Please note, that if we cannot address the issues within a decent amount of time, we will consider extending the Open Beta of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Thank you for your support and patience as we work towards an optimal gameplay experience.”

So if you for any reason forgot to download and try out the open beta which went live over last weekend, well you’re in luck. For PlayStation 4 owners, the download file size is just a tad under 3GB so it should not put too much of a strain on your hard drive. Unsure what’s in store in the open beta? We have it covered.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and will hit PS4, Xbox One and PC on the 26th January 2018. We are organizing a cool event celebrating the game’s release on the weekend of 27-28th January 2018 in Kuala Lumpur so stay tuned for more info! Publisher. Coffee addict.
