[Report] Studio Trigger & Arc System Works Teaming Up For A Kill la Kill Game
Update: Yes they are; it’s a game based on the Kill la Kill anime. Story bumped & edited to reflect the changes. This story was originally published on 14 June.
In case you couldn’t tell from the header image and the title of this news piece, it seems that Studio Trigger, the folks behind Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, and Darling In The Franxx, are working with Arc System Works.
There’s even a website for it counting down until its reveal in about less than 2 days. But for what exactly? Who knows, but since it’s AWS, it’s most likely an anime fighting game. And now we know the whole story:
We have pictures and screenshots of the reveal. As long as this franchise and game design docs stay far away from the fuckwits who did the Little Witch Academia game, we’re all good.
If I had to take a guess, the red font and colour scheme is similar to Kill la Kill’s logo. Perhaps we might be getting that Kill la Kill video game we’ve been clamouring for since 2014.
