[Report] Crash Team Racing Remaster To Be Announced At Game Awards 2018
The leaks just keep on coming. Not only are we allegedly getting a Mortal Kombat XI, but we might also be getting a remaster of a PlayStation 1 fan favourite: Crash Team Racing.
The teases came about this week with gaming personalities like AngelMelly and Hollie Bennet getting Crash-related gifts from Activision.

For all the Crash fans out there, this is interesting for a few reasons:
– Orange card written in a similar fashion to the one included w/ Spyro eggs
– Orange fuzzy dice, typically hung in cars
– An emphasis on "sliding" inSo, yeah – we're looking at Crash Team Racing, folks. https://t.co/JOaz6eErVs

We also have some details from a 4Chan leak. Here’s what we can expect:
- This complete remake of CTR will be developed by Vicarious Visions.
- This remake will have a higher production budget than the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy remasters.
- Composer Josh Mancell will be returning to help remaster the OST. If you don’t like it, you can always switch back to the original OST.
- The game will be out in Q3 2019.
2019 is looking mighty fine indeed, especially for fans who started gaming on the PS1 and had their first taste of go-kart gameplay with CTR. Next to Mario Kart, CTR’s the most-played go-kart multiplayer splitscreen racer in the late 90s.
